Comforts of Home
Farrington House is a 6-bed assisted living facility located in a quiet, safe neighborhood in Merritt Island. We provide senior care in a homelike setting as an alternative to the traditional institutional facility. We have 4 private rooms and a large semi-private room. Each room has a tv and a hospital bed. The main bathroom is large and adapted with grab bars, shower chairs, a roll- in shower, and a raised toilet. Large outdoor area in the back with sail shade covering. On-site beauty shop and family visiting room.
Services Provided
Some of the services we provide are assistance with self-care tasks (bathing,dressing, toileting, grooming), homemaking/laundry, 3 meals and snacks, crafts and activities, assistance with medication, and outings. We provide 24-hour care.
Experienced Personal Care Assistants
We would love to have your loved one at Farrington! Our staff become very connected with the residents and the families. We truly become one big family! All staff go through facility training and have to complete online training classes as well. We have a beautician that comes to the house. We have third parties available to provide homecare and hospice services as needed. A visiting nurse practitioner visits regularly if you choose to use her for your loved one to make it more convenient for you. The owner/administrator, Heather, is an occupational therapist of 27 years and is very involved in the day to day operations and care.
